Pink & Grey, Food Lovers Wedding

I am not sure that there is a pallette that is more romantic than pink and grey.  So soft and sweet, especially when fused with the lusciousness of peonies and garden roses.  Just simply, too pretty.  This lovely wedding offered a more bold styling of the bridal party with pops of hot pink in the bouquets and shoes, but stayed  softly pastel in the reception and ceremony venues.  I personally, just love the wooden armoires moved to the alter for additional candle space as a backdrop to the ceremony.

This was a couple who loved food and celebrated their love with menu cards titled “Recipe for a Happy Marriage” in place of a traditional guest book.  The cards were displayed among a backdrop of family cookbooks, and then filed into a recipe holder.  Bottled spices were given away as favors to round out the theme.  Photos by the amazing Ingrid of Myrtle and Marjoram and planning by Shannon Berry.
